I’d wait for you. We could’ve gone wherever we wanted to in the world. Please don’t go through this. I’m in a meeting with Nasim from Apex right now at the Pan Pacific and I stepped out of the conference seeing your email. 

Please cancel and think of your life post your father. Choose yourself and whatever we can be doing together. We’re just 29 and 31 now and have the rest of our life ahead of us. I pray for you each day and I haven’t stopped believing in us. I’m flying out to the U.S. on July 17 for a month. Life can change in 2 days and it can change back to what it was before in 2 days as well. I know your love of me is greater than whatever you feel for whoever you’re talking to now. Your mom will be taken care of by me. I will help you to be independent and pursue whatever you want! You took away my laughter and I can’t think of smiling knowing that you’re not a part of me anymore. You’re going to be in Bangladesh. Not in Pakistan. How is any of this making any sense to you? Plan a wedding with me and please come back! 

Even if you do go through this, you’ll look for me and this will end in a divorce because you won’t be able to truly respect him. You love me Zainab. I know it. Please meet me and we will figure something out. Just don’t go through this. People don’t marry like this. Your dad’s blessings aren’t required cause he’s imposing his haram toxic beliefs on you. You haven’t found peace and love in that. It’s all a temporary feel good state of euphoria and you’ll realize that soon.
